    Hi All,

I am currently studying a Masters in Primary Teaching with Hibernia College. All going to plan I am due to finish the course in April of this year. I may be looking to move to Spain, specifically Madrid or Salamanca, when I finish as my Spanish girlfriend is feeling homesick.

I am just wondering if anyone has any experience or info about working as a Primary Teacher in either an International or Government School in Spain (ideally in or close to Madrid or Salamanca) e.g. hiring process, working hours, salary.

Any info would be much appreciated!

I worked in an international school in Spain, it followed the IB programme. Have a look at www.tes.co.uk for jobs, this is a good time of the yr to be looking

Thanks Icsics. Sent you a PM there.

Is there anyone else out there with experience of working in a Primary School in or around Madrid?

Just trying to weigh up pros and cons if I do end up taking the plunge.
