    Hi Folks,
Where's recommended to have a few pints and watch a bit of racing in the town, maybe somewhere that'll take a bet aswell?
    Thanks,

Bugler Doyles is usually a good spot. Few bookies a few doors down, they have a bookies next door under same management. Not sure if they take bets on site for it.

Kelly's on the corner of South Main Street and King Street always seems to have Racing on when I walk past it. There's a Boylesports a minute away on South Main Street.

Sadly the Doyles closed the bookie next door but Paddy Power is thirty seconds away as is Boylesports in the opposite direction.

Culletons (the mayflower) Kennedy Park is another racing pub. There is a Boyle Sports beside it, along with a Thai takeaway, chipper and a tattoo place!!

There is many good pubs to watch the Racing.
    My favourites would be:
    -Bugler Doyles
    -Kellys on the Corner
    -Loch and Quay
    -Maggie Mays
    -Cullentons

The reason behind these, is that there is a bookie close to all selected, usually next door. They show a great range of sports with multiple TVs daily. And there is always a crowd in to watch it, so you can have a chat with a bit of a atmosphere.

Best pub without a doubt for Racing is the Foggy Dew Inn. Bookies 10 yards across the road and you can watch the racing in peace. Also has a big tv with all the odds for all races that day.
