I have 3 and 4 year old Welsh collies. Over the last week They have started to toilet indoors again, one or both them but not sure as they both look guilty 😀 Urinating on there beds and and pooing in the utility were they have always slept at night.
Any ideas out there to turn this around would be very welcome.
    Many thanks

You say they're toileting again... Does this mean this is something that happens regularly, or has happened before?
If this is something that's out of character for them, the first step is a vet visit. Uncharacteristic breakdowns in toilet training are usually caused by an underlying medical issue.
Other things to look at include are they worried about anything that may have happened in the recent past? Storms? Fireworks? Things that go bump in the night?
Is either dog prone to being worried about not having your company (or another human's company?
Finally, that's not guilty faces you're looking at, they're appeasement signals that dogs give off when they can sense someone's a bit peeved with them, or where a set of circumstances arise in which someone has been peeved with them in the past. Google "calming signals". It's really important to understand that dogs don't do guilt... To do so infers that they "know" they've done something bad. They don't. They just know they've a peed off owner to deal with :o

    Thanks Dbb
There has been some stormy weather recently which does coincide with the toilet changes. It hasn't happened regularly since they were pups but has happened in 5 of the last 7 nights and previously only on the odd night in the last 3 year's.
Will make a visit to the vet just in case.
