Country house hen?

Hey all, my wife is trying to organise a hen for this Summer and is looking for a country house type of venue that would suit about 10-12 people. Heart was set on Roundwood Country House but they are too expensive for those numbers (think you need to be 16+ guests to get decent deals). Requirements are fairly simple... country house where they can enjoy a few drinks and a meal, convenient from Cork & Dublin (so Galway, Mayo, Donegal etc. are out), and with nice hikes/walks nearby.

    Anyone have any recommendations?

    Cheers!

Booked Rathellen house for a hen for my sister. It wasn’t a ‘go on the tear hen’ it was glasses of wine and cooking breakfast ourselves and making fascinators ourselves for an activity in the afternoon (I brought all the stuff). Hen was brilliant, house is fab and owners lovely
