Hi

Just looking for some advice on Dimplex Class A Heat Pump System if anyone is familiar with them?  Moved into a new build house a few weeks ago and the heating system is taking a bit of getting used to (both my wife and I are used to gas central heating).

It was explained to us by the builders that we shouldn't expect instant heat like gas central heating, where this system takes time to warm up, but if you have it at a constant heat on low the house will be always heated.  You can set the thermostat for the two different zones (upstairs and downstairs).  By setting the thermostat the temperature should reach it.  The past few evenings we have set the temperature at 23 degrees when coming home at 6pm, by 11pm it still hasn't reached per the thermostat.  Yesterday evening the radiators were lukewarm, but were only heated at the top of each one, were cold at the bottom.  The radiators upstairs seemed to be heated all over.

Has anyone used this system or can offer any tips or advice?  Part of me thinks that its a mind-set change, where I am used to instant heat and this is what this system is not about.  Or am I missing a simple trick?  As you can probably tell I am no expert when it comes to heating systems in general!

    Thanks in advance,
