Strange noise

I have an '08 Primera hatchback which makes a clunking noise when driven over a speed ramp. It passed the NCT last month, no problem. So far, two mechanics can't say what is causing this. Any ideas?

Driving over speed bumps is causing it.

The car should be capable of going over speed bumps without making the noise. The spped ramps are demonstrating the problem, not causing it.

Could be a shock top mount if they have them. Might have been ok at nct time.

Anti roll bar bushings (possibly)had same problem some time ago.

Is it front or rear? Push a wing down hard and see if you can reproduce the sound that way

Give it to someone who isnt a lazy fecker. Rattles than sound like the ass is falling out of the car can be pretty invisible when on a lift sometimes. It needs proper checking spe ding more than 2 minutes on it.
