    Hi,
Anyone know the issue. Installed a brand new Triton T90SR today and there is plenty of water flow. The problem is that the temperature dial is turned up to the max and the water temperature is cool about 28 degrees. Is there a fix for this.?
    ?

There are better lads on here than me, but have you the same shower head that was provided?

Does the dial go all the way round to the coldest setting? If not then the cover/dial is not on properly.

On the top dial You have cold at 9 o clock. One element at 12 o clock & two elements at 3 o clock. It should be on two elements at this time of year.

Is there a change in temperature going from one element to two elements?

Is the hose too tight or the inside all twisted.

    Is it bled properly.

Are all connections tight and terminated correctly.

Check the element is connected correctly.

    Check filter.

Make sure 230v supply is correct.

    This is a strange one.
Element seems to be working ok.

Is the bottom dial on correctly? Does it dial all the way back to cold? I'd would be about 7 o clock cold and 5 o clock at its hottest

    Thanks.
As Homer simpson says " dope"
    Yes. You are right. Yipee
The temerature dial only went half way.
Corrected it and works fine now.
Love how quiet it is compared to Mira Elite 2 which was like a jet engine ..
    Thanks again Sleeper12.
All I need now is some way of stopping kids having a shower for one hour at a time..

How did you fix the dial? Mine is exact same - dial will only turn to 12 o clock on the bottom dial - won’t go anti clockwise past 12 - I’m sure it’s the same issue

Turn off the power & remove the cover. On the shower turn the bottom /flow dial all the way anti clockwise. On the cover turn the bottom dial all the way anti clockwise. Now put the cover back on. Dial should work perfectly now

Got it thanks - didn’t realise it was all the way anti-clockwise before I turned on - sorted - great shower and sooo much quieter than our previous 14 yr old T90

Just had this issue with a new shower today. Turned out the dial was the issue thanks.

What amazes me, is the amount of times this happens. Every shower from electric to bar mixers the dial has an exact way to go on. I get that a lot are DIY jobs & they have never come across this before but many are professional installs. At least they are supposed to be professional. There are a lot of chancers out there passing themselves off as tradesmen & charging accordingly without basic knowledge of what they are doing

Hi, also have a T90sr. Powers on no problem, water flowing no problem. But absolutely stone cold no water the dial setting . Any point getting it repaired or just buy a new one? Living in a VERY hard water area. Shower approx 4 years old

One would think that the flowrate would be very poor if heating can full of limestone, of course both elements may have burned out but unlikely IMO, it may just be the TCO (thermal cut out) that needs replacing, needs someone who knows how to use a multimeter. You might also check the flowrate, should be 8LPM with the temperature control turned to fully cold, anticlockwise, but 6.0LPM still adequate.

As John says it's most likely the TCO. If in a high limescale area I would suggest replacing the heating can as well as the TCO or else replce the shower itself. You get massive heat transfer to the TCO because of all the limescale. It's very likely that a new TCO will blow (possibly as quickly as a day or two) again if heating can is caked with limescale.
