Family City Trip in June

Hi all,

The family are looking to head off for 4 days around the middle of June, a city break in Europe.

We are looking for somewhere cheap (if possible) but also with things to do. We have Lisbon and Copenhagen in mind at the moment.

Anyone have any ideas on someplace else ?

Copenhagen is very expensive .. Check out Edinburgh , brilliant city easy to navigate , no transport needed while there as everything touristy is walkable and if u want to take public transport is only £4 for all day bus tickets .

Madrid is great and cheap too, plenty to see and do. As the other poster said Copenhagen (and indeed the rest of Scandinavia) is far from cheap, it's significantly more expensive than here.

Rome is a great city to visit.
Plenty to see, great food and loads of bars and cafes where you can sit outside and watch the world go by.

Barcelona, Berlin, Budapest, Amsterdam. All amazing cities

Budapest is fab, cheap & has plenty to do and see
