I suffer from the early stages of arthritis with aches in my hands, back, hips and feet .I am a 44 year old farmer so i suffer on most of the time and depend on nurifen when pain gets worse .I usually only have to take nurifen 3 or 4 times per year but it is fatigue that is getting worse if anything .2 table spoons of cod liver oil daily is all i take at moment but have read that glucosamine should benefit me.
I think recommended dose is 1500mg daily ,can anyone recommend what type of glucosamine is best and where i would buy it???

Hey, I would recommend going to be gp and getting a full diagnosis, xrays, mri and bloods. Get a referral to a rheumy to work with them. There are several types of arthritis and if you are young you need to know which one you have, degenerative, inflammatory, rheumatoid, gout, fibro. Until you know what you really have then look at treatment or maintaining.

I got 4 types in my 30's and have bits removed and replaced. It's only now that i am looking at other avenues like diet and exercise. You are still young you owe it to yourself to get an MOT. Some of these can be life changing and I am not saying that you frighten you, just give yourself the apt and care you need
