Anyone have any idea of what the Renault Kadjar is like? Looking to change my car Nissan Qasqhai 2010. Or the Renault Captur is that any good as a car. Looking at the Renaults in Diesel and Automatic. Thanks folks.

The Kadjar is basically the newer model Qashqai with different styling and packaging as Nissan and Renault are sister companies who share many platforms and components these days. The 1.5 and 1.6 dci engines are the exact same found in the Qashqai. The Captur is smaller than both the Kadjar/Qashqai and is the sister car of the Nissan Juke.

Overall not a bad car atall. Automatic is a bit sluggish but the dci engine is pretty reliable. The version with the 19'' wheels isn't the most comfortable on the road mainly down to be small tyre wall. You should be prepared for parts of the interior to make slight rattles over time. I think the Qashqai is a little bit cheaper tho for basically the same car

I've the basic kadjar in automatic
Can't fault the car. Very economic 55-65miles to the gallon depending how you drive.
Bouncy enough on old back bog roads but same as any car .

The Kadjars with 19" alloy wheels eat tyres fairly quickly too.

Thanks, sounds like a Qashqai with a different badge. Have to say love the Qashqai but time has come now where I have to look at changing.
    Cheers.

It will probably boil down to personal preferences between the Kadjar and Qashqai as mechanically they are near identical.

The Kadjar is a bit more of a looker and arguably a nicer place to be than the Nissan IMO but I'd say the Nissan would hold value better, if that's a concern.

No not yet. Hard to let it go. Might hang onto it until the summer.
