I have friends that want to buy a site off me. Now I'm happy to do so but my only question is would it screw me over if I want to build myself elsewhere on the farm?

It depends on the county, my parents sold a site some years ago but moth myself and the brother have since secured planning.

normally get 4 sites to the one land owner(1 off sites that is), check your county-local council planning reports--find out for sure!
also-they don't like to have more than 4 houses in a row, called ribbon!

What I was told, when I applied for planning permission numerous years back, took me a year+ to get PP, as I would have been that 4th house on this particular land holders land..

also if your land is in different counties-you probably can sell more, Townlands, I think if they are a good distance apart-same scenario!
