Leaking bleed valve on radiator

    Need some advice.

Went to bleed radiator (old style about 20yrs old) and it's leaking from around the fitting and not from centre.

Took out old valve and put new one in with PTFE on it. Still leaking.

Bought some metal epoxy putty and removed Bleed valve complete fitting and plugged hole with the putty, waited 24hrs and still leaking.

Currently have Tech7 sealant on hole and it's holding, but I'm assuming it's only temporary fix.

Anyone any advice before I need to change out the whole radiator?
