Similar to other threads here but different, any advice gratefully received.
I am currently driving a 141 Fiesta diesel 100k on the clock.
Daily commute is 50kms each way (100kms),
    I have off road parking.
Budget, well I am open to the best deal, could go new as well or PCP.
I want to get away from diesel, would a hybrid suit my needs?
    Thanks again.

Any semi-regular journeys longer than 100km?

Any of the new EV's (28kWh+) would happily do your commute all year round and give you the most savings.

The 24kWh Leaf could struggle, particularly in winter or if you were on motorway.

Hybrid as well of course will do the trick but the most savings are in pure EV. It really depends on whether the current EV's float your boat. There isn't a lot to choose from - Leaf, eGolf, i3, Ioniq.

No maybe the airport 2-3 times a year 280km round trip.

If you have somewhere to charge on the work side of your commute, you'll be grand with a 24kWh Leaf.

No issues then. You do need the 28kWh+ models though if you want pure EV unless, as goz83 said, you can get work charging.

You seem to be doing between 25-30k km's per year?
You'll be looking at savings of around €2k/yr between fuel/maintenance/tax.

Get a loaner from a dealer and try it out.
