    Shouldn't make a difference until you sell the car, just don't lose it until then.

    On the back page of the log book you write your new address and tick “change of address”. Free to do and is necessary to do.

    You can also change address if taxing on line

    Is it legal requirement to change address to current one?

    It hardly makes any difference anyway, as they always have your up-to-date address from every motortax renewal.

    So speeding fines will arrive in the right place anyway.
