When does revenue online adjust their VRT OMSP rates. I'm looking at 2016 A4s so now that they are technically 2 year old rather than 1 year old, when will i see a drop in the OMSP and hence VRT

Generally on the first of the month the OMSP changes.

But there would be a bigger decrease when the car turns exactly 2 years old -after the first date of registration on the V5. and after this date when the car is 2 years old, it won't be sent to revenue for a manual valuation to check for extras.(audis under 2 years old are subject to possible additional fees if there are extras) you need to find out the exact date of registration for the car.

Thanks; I'm aware about the 2 year rule, anything newer than 2 year, they take in all the extras eg sunroof. Do you know if OMSPs adjust every 6 months etc or are they determined by the reg date of car. Eg a march 16 car isn't 2 year old until March yet a Jan 1st 16 car is now 2 year old; I know I'm getting petty at this stage! lol but also curious how it all works
