    Hi,
About to buy first fix cabling for lighting install, Current plan loose outline below but I’m open to suggestions and recommendations

Question: if matching the cable to light & dimmer control type - what is the standard setup?

    Currently figure I’ll need:

-Couple of dimmer GL10 LEDs ( 60mm in depth or less)

-Couple suitable wall + ceiling dimming fittings

Apologies of this has been cover before. If anyone could direct me to a suitable thread that would be great.

From recent posts I've seen you should ask your electrician to run neutral wires to your switches. It will give you more options for remote dimmers.

So standard 1.5 twin & earth (brown & blue & earth) will do?
