Item detained by customs, what now?

    Hi, if some one knows what happens next it would be great. No offence but not looking for probably's or maybes.

    Basically, I imported 30 items from china valued at $30 each. They arrived in Ireland and were stopped by customs for inspection which was fine. They have now detained the items "RE: Valuation" basically they don't belive the items are valued at $30 each and suspect they have a higher value.
    I have been dealing directly with the shipping agent in dublin who has been dealing with customs. I have sent them across;

    -a commercial invoice from the supplier
    -a screenshot of the western union transfer
    -previous documents form the last shipment that shows same price, this was also checked and cleared by customs

    The commercial invoice has all details of product, value, sender, receiver etc.
    The western union transfer has the company owners name in China as receiver but no discription of goods (don't think its an option on western union).

    I'm a bit OCD when it comes to emails and texts, I basically delete them once read and replied, so all old emails and chat with the supplier have been deleted and I have basically given customs everything I have relating to the valuation.

    Does anyone know what the process is if they think this isn't enough? Do I lose the goods? Do I have to pay extra? I have imported a few times, most times stopped by customs and let through. All paperwork does be up to date, invoices, bill of laden etc.

    I'll know for next time to keep EVERYTHING

    Thanks in advance for any answers
