    1. Can I lodge my Water refund cheque if I don’t have a bank account?

    If you do not have a bank account, Irish Water will work with all customers to ensure refund payment is made successfully. Customers having difficulty lodging cheques should contact us on 1850 448 448.  Cheques could be lodged with Banks, Credit Unions or into An Post Savings account.

    3. I would like to close my account. How do I do this?

    If you call us on 1850 448 448, between 9am and 5:30pm Monday to Friday, a member of our team will be happy to assist you further.



    4. I made a Connection application to Irish Water. When will I get my quote?


    If you would like us to follow up on your connection application, please PM the following details:

    - Your full name;
    - Contact number;
    - The name on the application;
    - The Local Authority you applied through;
    - Connection address; &
    - Any further details such as a reference number

    5. I did not receive my full refund amount. What do I do?

    If you believe you have not received the correct amount for your refund, please PM the following details and we can discuss this further with you:

    - Full name;
    - Address;
    - Account Number; and
    - WPRN
