    Thinking to buy :

    Foxwell NT301 EOBD/ OBD-II Engine Scan Tool/ Code Reader

Any one used it here? Is it good enough? I need a basic one, as I can't fix the car myself but want to see the issue before I go to a mechanic.

I am using this on amazon without any issue" OBD2, AQV Code Reader OBD Scanner Universal Car Tester Diagnostic Scan Tool OBD ii Vehicle Check Engine Diagnostic for Automobiles Error Codes Eraser". Price £27.97 in Amazon.

I would suggest you to find one which can show data in graph. For example, voltage with time.

    Thanks,
I just ordered NT301. It has "graph live data streams from the engine's sensors in real-time" if that's what you meant in your post. I am not sure how helpful that is. I am new in this field

What I meant was I would find one which can plot live data in real-time.

For example, plot voltage with time so that we can see how the data changed with real-time. I am currently having difficulty to test how O2 sensors generate voltages with time and meet technical specification. Tech specification says that around 0.3 sec a sensor should vary its voltage from 0.2V to 0.8 V. I can see this change by live data (showing in number), but it is really difficult to see how this voltage will change in 0.3 sec.

If you just plan to see faulty codes, and live data without plot, I think a cheaper one should work perfectly.
    Thanks,

Thanks for giving an example, i can understand only little but get the gist of what you're explaining.
I have Engine Light on at the moment, but dealer is going to sort it out tomorrow. Once my car warranty expires, then i will use this OBD Scanner and get an idea how things really work.

    Thanks to you all.
