Help needed re where to start

    Here goes...

I was once incredibly fit and played sport at a high level. I used to love showing off my six pack on the beach etc...juvenile but there you go.

Fast forward to now and I’m a mess. I am grossly overweight and don’t know where to start.

I go for medicals and everything is fine, other than my weight. The nurses/doctors even comment that I must have played sport/been fit because of my heart rate and lung capacity.

This is a very open-ended question I appreciate, but what should I do?

I’m thinking of logging what I eat, starting to walk, and then building up to replicating what I used to do training-wise (essentially outdoor based cardio and heavy weights). It seems so daunting though.
