I got a eye line putting mat a few years ago in AG it was about €80 rolls out to 12 ft, 2 holes, 1 normally size and 1 slightly smaller.. Have to say its a great mat and still in perfect nick about 6 yrs old now. I dont use it as often as I should, but it has brought my putting on big time! probably the strongest part of my game.

Have a very similar one, but think mine only rolls out to around 9ft. similar to yourself Benny, doesn't get as much time as it should, but putting at the small hole really does make a big difference. When you switch to the standard size hole afterwards, it seems massive by comparison

What's the brand of the one you have? The two I'm looking at are both 9ft by 3ft.

The brand is eyeline golf. It's called perfect-line putting mat.

    Surface is excellent

Lads, can these be used over tiles and rolled back up again after use without affecting the matt itself?

From the research I've done yea they can. Some complaints of the cheaper ones are that the mats can take a while to settle flat but seems to be mainly the cheap ones that suffer from that.

I would be using mine over wood flooring, so would be grooves between the boards. Not as pronounced as tiles I guess but the one I have lies perfectly flat

Thats the one I have we obviously have the same one space :D

I use mine over tiles no problem at all, It's a great mat I have mine a few years and still perfect.. I did mark mine out 6ft and 12 ft from both holes and just put a small cross (permanent marker) so I have a starting point. Folds away nicely you also get a foam to brush it down as it shows the line your putt took.

I did something similar. Measured the distance from the edge of the mat to the centre of the hole. Then put a mark at a number of spots along the mat the same distance from the edge from around 3ft backwards. Means if I hit a putt from a spot & it goes in I'm hitting a straight putt (assuming the surface I'm on is flat)
