I'm presuming that you have to wait until Jan 2018 to request a P21 balancing statement for 2017?

The option isnt yet available on my Revenue.ie account fot 2017.

I've just seen this posted in Revenue.ie.

"However, you will be able to review your tax position for 2017 in early January by submitting a Form 12 or requesting an End of year statement (P21). You can access these services by clicking on the ‘Review your tax’ link on the PAYE Services card in myAccount".

You can ask but you may not receive in January.

The Revenue Commissioners are not very fast out of the blocks when it comes to issuing P21's in January for previous year.

They usually wait until employers have furnished the P35's for employees , as it is only then that they can see the full picture. ( mid Feb)

My advice also is to claim as many tax credits as you possibly can depending on your own personal circumstances
