Standing order

    If I have a standing order due to be taken on the 3rd of January and no money in the account will this be attempted to be taken out again on the 4th? Many thanks

    Thanks for contacting us here on Boards.ie.

    If the payment is going to a BOI loan, it will process again the next working day but an unpaid fee of €12.70 would be applied. If it's a regular standing order to another bank account, you'd need to check it on the 4th and make a manual transfer.
