opel insignia help needed

    Hi folks my 09 2.0 diesel insignia is flickering the oil light and I was advised to change the oil pressure switch.I got one but cannot find where in engine the old one is I have googled loads but no look any one able to guide me to where it is would be fantastic.Thanks

    The switch is down the back of the engine on the oil filter housing. It is unlikely to fix your problem. Most likely the seal between the sump and the oil pump has failed causing low pressure. Damage may already be done.

    No problem. Just remember that any driving you do is causing more and more damage to the engine if the oil pressure is low.
