Android Auto upgrade to X-trail 2017?

    The 2018 Rogue, which is the North American X-Trail, is officially coming with Android Auto.

    I'm trying to figure out of the 2017 Rogue / X-Trail will have a retrospective upgrade to the existing Nissan Connect system, hardware or software, made available... However, it's impossible to find this info anywhere! Or quite possibly I'm just looking in the wrong places :-)

    Does anyone have any info on this or advice on where to look? Any knowledge of the current hardware that would indicate it's a possibility / definitely rule it out?

    I've A 2017 X-trail SVE, if it makes any difference - thanks in advance!
