Mulberry Repairs experience?

    Hi,

The clasp has fallen off my wife's Mulberry Anthony satchel? She has it since 2013 and uses it as her work bag - so regular use.

The clasp fell off (the bit that twists to keep the satchel flap/lid closed)

Anybody got experience of sending off to Mulberry for repairs? Any idea of likely charges?

Did she buy in BT or somewhere similar? They can often arrange repairs

The clasp fell off my Alexander McQueen bag in less than a year, with not very heavy use. I went into BT who sent it to McQ for repair. It took about 6 weeks but it came back fully repaired free of charge. In your case, the bag has been in use for 4-5 years, so there may well be a fee.

Thanks, yes BT. Having done a small bit of research since, probably not the optimum purchase location :)

Yes, they said they'd send it off and they'd then come back with a quote and ask if we'd like to proceed. They couldn't advise in advance, but I'm guessing this happens not irregularly.

Just wondering what the likely fee would be.

Hopefully someone can help, I was lucky that any repair I’ve needed was covered.

I've had different repairs over the years with Mulberry but no clasp so I can't tell you the cost. They will give you a quote if you email repairsquote @ mulberry.com. I've found them really helpful over the years so hopefully it'll be the same for you.

Wife had the catch and plate replaced on hers recenty, same style bag but older. Total cost was €70. All handled very efficently by the Mulberry shop in Kildare Village.

Quality of the repair was flawless.

I've had clasp repairs done on two Mulberry bags (my wife's, heavily used) and both cost between €80-100, not sure exactly. Perfect results both times.
