As title says, instructions may as well be gibberish, I'm not even sure if it's possible . Anyone know how you play Bluetooth music through the new mondeo, it's talking in the manual about some sort of sync software in the head unit or phone I don't even know , I don't know why they have to make it so hard, in the Yaris you just hit Bluetooth as an audio source :(

Sync is the name of the software system used by Ford. If your car is very new, it might have Sync3 (my 2016 has Sync2).

You should be able to just pair your phone with the car, then go to the BD Audio input of the car audio system to play it. That's how it works on mine.

That's what I thought but there is no BD audio option, do you have to install something on the phone? The phone is hooked up so you can talk via Bluetooth but no audio option

Did you try a different make of phone? That will rule out the issue being with the type of phone or the car.

Is it sync 1 or 2 ?? sync 2 has an 8 inch touchscreen.
Are you playing the music through your media player while phone is connected ??

Even the basic system has Bluetooth streaming. Use the aux button and it will cycle between Bluetooth, USB and cable in.

You need to pair the phone first for calls. Press phone then add then search for devices and hit ok on the radio and on the phone (it will throw up a random code number)

When it says ‘emergency assistance on’ you know the phone is paired.
