Experience with Delta Airlines to US?

    Next week, I'll be taking the KL 6191 from Dublin to JFK. I was wondering if anyone has flown the same flight before.

    Apparently all passengers are using U.S. pre-clearance which is faster. Only thing I heard that is bad is the flight itself, apparently it's very old and dirty (even though the website saysbit has Wi-Fi and USB ports on board.)

    It's a Boeing 767-400. Heard they are quite old.

    757 are the old ones - if traveling economy there is really not much difference in the major airlines. Delta would be my preference as I feel they have really upped their game in recent years.

    Where did you hear the flight was *bad* ?

    Flew back from New York on the 767 in October. Delta are a great airline but the 767 is getting on a bit in years. Had the older IFE but still had your own screen. Food was grand and service was great, much better than Aer Lingus. I wouldn't hesitate flying with them for a second.

    I would do anything to avoid a 757 longhaul. Never been on a delta 767, but in general while 767s would be getting on a bit, they're still OK.
