    Hi there,

I usually book my family holiday but this year we want to go to the sun.

Any tips as to who the best tour operator is?

Do people book package now or seperate?

    What age are your kids?

Have you considered a camping holiday?

The majority of family holidays I've taken in recent years have been to mobile home parks so it's a +1 from me on the suggestion above.

Lots of people, me included, are choosing to book flights and accommodation seperately and it's really no hassle. Probably takes less time than a trip to a travel agent.

Even if you decide on a resort hotel or aparthotel it's still perfectly doable DIY online.

There are also plenty of hotels catering for families, but I didn't consider them as I think they would still be restrictive compared to a campsite.

I know people who had very enjoyable family holidays in hotels, one of the best spots is Salou apparently if you still fancy a hotel.
