So basically I’m working one day a week every Tuesday , and at present on the casual dockets, I got a letter telling me that I’m to present myself on Friday morning to start with jobpath. My question is this my employer has told me that come the first week in Jan That I will be getting more days it will be 3 days work per week 20 hours , so can I claim fis? Instead of starting seetec?? I’m claiming for my partner and me and our two kids aged 4 and 13 thanks.

Sadly unless you are working fulltime then you will have to go into seetec as they are tasked with getting you a fulltime job and if you dont engage with them then your benefits will be cut

If you are eligible for FIS then get the form filled up next week. Send it off. Sign off JSA and apply immediately for the Family Dividend Payment.
See the CWO to arrange an interim payment while you are waiting for your FIS to come through.
Once you’ve signed off JSA you won’t have to attend Seetec/TN as your no longer on the live register .
They will still contact you though.
FIS will want payslip as soon as you have one to calculate your entitlement.

The OP won’t have to attend Seetec as he will have signed off the dole.

You'll have to attend JobPath on Friday as you are still claiming jobseekers. As soon as your hours are increased, put in a claim for FIS, sign off jobseekers and no more JobPath.
