Hotpoint Integrated Dishwasher - Panel Door Weight

    Hi All

    Recently purchased a Hotpoint HIO3C22WSC integrated dishwasher. Previous 2 dishwashers worked fine with the panel door however now it is too light for this dishwasher.

    I was looking at adding weights the panel door, but also was trying to see if it is easy to adjust the tension springs so i wouldnt need to modify the panel door.

    Anyone else have experience with this? What would your suggestions be? I was hoping there might be an adjustment nut as i wouldnt want to remove any panels as its a new dishwasher.

    There is usually a screw above the two front legs of the dish washer which allows you to adjust the tension. You can adjust this without having to take off the panel. They usually require a large amount of turning before any change in the tension is noticed.

    You should have received an installation guide with the dishwasher which will detail exactly how to adjust the tension.
