Villa or Hotel for sun holiday 2018???

    Hi folks
    I cannot make up my mind about a 10 day holiday in a villa or in a hotel for a family of 5 for Summer 2018..Considering Lanzarote or Algarve as our destination.Im interested in hearing peoples opinions on these.I like the privacy of the villa but would the kids get bored?I presume there is also a cost difference also between the two.

    For me it would depend on how much you like your own private space & how old the kids are, under 10, I'd probably go for a property that had a kids club or some kind of animation team to keep them occupied for some periods of some days, if older would probably opt for a villa with good WiFi lol

    Haven't been to the Algarve in years but if you choose Lanzarote, can recommend Costa Sal in Matagorda, very kid friendly but a private villa I'd say will be much less expensive
