Freezer Question

    Hi folks, are freezers like these completely sealed at the back, example.... there is no compressor like on a fridge.

    They both have compressors, you can see the section where the storage area is smaller, the compressor is in there.
    The cooling coils are probably behind the inside surface on the chest freezer and appear to be the shelves on the upright.
    The waste heat has to be expelled somewhere around the back.

    Are they airtight? Probably.
