I don't know anything about them, sorry. But my Rolec runs into a Garo priority board and I haven't had any issue with that.

We are looking at Garo charger at the moment. Did you end up getting one? If so, can you share your experience with it please?

No I didn't get one in the end I got a second hand one from ebay, I found the people in Garo terrible to deal with as did my sparks, they really didn't know an awful lot about them but everything else they do is supposed to be quality so if you can get over the poor customer service they may be worth it although I was quoted 900 which is crazy, my sparks was getting it cost price though

What model charger did you end up getting and did you buy privately or from a business? Are you getting the SEAI grant?

At the moment got quoted supply & fit for less than 900 including certification (vat included). The charger itself is about 500-ish. We are going to get the grant of 600 so thought it won't be too bad. OH, decided to go with it so we'll see how it goes. Thanks for the heads up though!

Sorry for the delay , I got a second hand Viridian , to be honest I dont use it much but its been grand , as I mentioned in another thread I installed it inside with the cable out side, small neat unit.
submitted the paper work for the grant a few days ago, sparks found the info they wanted strange because it was on the forms supplied but different abbreviations , hes not sure some of the numbers we submitted are correct

Thanks. I'm hoping to do the same, i.e. install the unit in the garage next to a window and have the ability to charge inside or outside. I am waiting on an electrician to tell me what is required and I still haven't bought my charger - I missed out of an ABL (which a kindly Boardsie on here tipped me off to!) on Averts so am currently mulling over installing an untethered type 2 Rolec with a Type 1 to Type 2 cable or a tethered Type 1 Zappi (as they don't yet come untethered). There isn't much of a price differential between these 2 options but if I upgrade the car in the next couple of years I would have to change the tethered zappi cable to a Type 2.
