Fit regular tyre on TLR rim - seating bead

Commuter Trek 7.3 came with TLR Rims and 700x32 Bontrager AW1 tyres with tubes.

They never seated that well, but now the back tyre blew out so fitted a Conti City Ride, and the bead does not want to seat - doesn't want to catch under the hooks on the rim.

Any ideas or how do it - or does anybody else have similar problems.

Tyres are rated only up to 4 bar / 60 psi so can't go crazy and have already maxed out my aldi track pump at 7 bar.

Try soapy water around the bead on both sides - this does the trick for me with stubborn tyre/rim combos.

Thanks, that seems to help but still not perfect - the rim may have issues.
