Laundry Cabinets

    Hi, Due to a lack of space and a busy household Im looking to install a washing machine and dryer....washing machine on the ground and the dryer on top of the washing machine but on a frame in the hallway behind a cabinet. The services (waste and water) are in the bathroom behind where i want to install the unit and enclosed within a cabinet. Has anyone done this before?

    Is your dryer vented or condenser?

    I should have posted that it will be a condenser dryer.

    You could run into issues with air flow then. I know mine has a vent at the front.

    There will be 2 vents on the right hand side of the cabinet and a grill on the top that will only be visible when the door is opened.
    Did you get the cabinet made or diy?

    DIY, but there isn't a door on it, it's under the stairs. I don't think a vent on the side would be sufficient if the vent on the machine is on the front.
