    Hi

Warning lights came on in the car yesterdays (2011 VW PASSAT) so I put it though the computer to see what it could be. Please see below for the two main fault

Fault 00290 left rear AND wheel speed sensor and
fault P15A10 neutral position sensor implausible signals.

Did anyone have these before; would u have a ball park figures on cost. Is it safe to drive?

Your abs and traction control will not work until fixed, so not very safe in this weather. Codes only point you in a direction, if lucky could be just a sensor or broken wire, on the worse end could be a control unit.

It will be the sensor. Extremely common issue on those Passats.

Get a genuine sensor. Dealer will have it in stock.

I've had bother with spurious ones a couple of times.
