Garda Car Speeding

    Couldn't find an answer to my question though a link would be great but I was driving on the motorway doing about 130 kmph and overtook a lorry when I saw a garda car come up behind me I moved back into slow lane and the garda car shot past me I'm wondering if the garda must pull u over of if they send a fixed charge in the post

    Where are these slow lanes I’ve never seen any on a motorway in Ireland.

    130kmh on a motorway will not attract the attention of Gardaí unless they want to stop you for another reason.

    The rules don't apply to them.
