Do I need a wall vent for a 5kw non boiler stove. the property was built in 1999 and room had 3 external walls?

if a vent is an absolute must then is there any particular type that will just allow the bare minimum air requirements?

the room is always cold so when stove is not in use it will be the same scenario.

    1.2 Air supply to appliances
    1.2.1 Each appliance should be:
    (a) room sealed, or
    (b) contained in a room space or compartment
which has a permanent ventilation opening.
the above is taken from the building regulations TGDs part J

Is there any brand that are better than others for keeping draught to minimum. I see there is baffled and acoustic types. Do these offer much difference. They seem to vary from 11,000 equivalent area to 7,000 equivalent area. That doesn't mean a whole lot to me but maybe somebody on here might know if that is a worthwhile to change to baffled or acoustic.

My house was built in the 1950's and has no vents.I put in double glazed windows, insulated it very well so its retains heat just as good as modern houses.
I had a 6kw non boiler stove for 5 years and a new boiler stove at the moment.
Everything works fine without a vent but i am probably breaking a building regulation but I'm warm and safe with my carbon monoxide alarm
