Unpaid leave

    Hi hope someone can help me with information in this matter.

    I was placed on unpaid leave as something showed up on my Garda vetting that was case pending. I had been working with <<removed company/agency name>> for 5 months and they decided to place me on unpaid work on the 21st july 2017. My husband applied for family income supplying (FIS) in Oct.

    In the last month and a half or so, FIS has written to me and the agency I work for, for a letter to state when I was placed on this leave. The agency have declined this as its against the policy but have said if there was such form that would not b a problem so FIS sent the agency a 5B form but they still would not cooperated sayin that there was a part of the form they could not fill out as the form was looking to know the hrs I worked in sept, Oct and November.

    I haven't worked since end of july so dont understamd why the agency couldnt put a note stating that I have not worked these month..thos morning I practically begged for this letter and ask if they could go to management and explained my situation but instead they sent back an email that they will be is issuing me with my P45. And the reason for this is because the place I worked at the hrs had severely reduced with the agency.. but why now all of a sudde?

    I am going to lose out fis claim a back pay. I am up to my eyes with bills and christmas next wk. Im really worried for my kids that this is not goin to b a gd time for us..all I want to do is lock my door and close the curtains...if anyone can give me advice or knows of anyone that has had this problem they could contact me, need all the advice I can get it will be much appreciated.. living on only my husbands wage is killing us at 389 wkly.
