Flying Dubai to Dublin with Air Moldova

    Hi,
    My daughter is flying from Dubai to Dublin and wants to take an Air Moldova flight which has a 10 hour layover in Chisinau, Moldova.
    I'm concerned about a few things.
    1. Will she need a visa for Moldova?
    2. Is this airline safe?
    3.Will she be safe if she decides to do some sightseeing in Chisinau?

    Sounds a bit torturous. Personally I would pay the extra for the direct route.

    No visa required by Irish citizens and in general EU citizens

    Air Moldova is licensed to operate in the EU so meets the required standards, flies modern Western built jets by Airbus and Embraer

    Do your homework before venturing out. Its a poor country so rich looking foreigners may attract attention

    Haven't been there, but by all accounts recently refurbished. She could always pay and go into one of the lounges.
