    Hi,

    Looking for opinions.

I accepted a bid on an item on Saturday morning which has had a fair bit of interest. I immediately PMed by buyer asking them when suits to meet up. I was hoping to get it done over the weekend as there's a bit more time for work reasons. I've had no response. I PMed them yesterday and again today and still nothing.

What's a reasonable timeframe before I cut my losses? I know it's only a couple of days, but with mobile technology etc., there's little excuse for going completely dark. An "I'm away for a few days" or "can't meet until xday"
    wouldn't kill anyone.

The buyer has reasonable feedback with only one negative from a couple of years ago which says they're a timewaster.

What's the item. I'll offer 5 euro more than your offer!

Seriously, it could be anything. You'll either hear or you won't!

It's a camera lens with a value of €550. My question is - what's a reasonable amount of time before I move on and find another buyer. Poor communication like this boils my pi$$!

Does it show he has been online since?? If so I would cancel. Why wait around when you need cash for something, also check his other comments and see if he is making lots of offers on similar products,

that's another sign that it ain't gonna happen

Thanks Lucast. Good tip. Just checked and he was online a day ago so that was yesterday. Confirms he must have received my messages, but isn't responding. I'm going to send him another saying that if I don't get a response by 6 p.m. today I will cancel his offer and move on.

Buyer just rang me. Up to his proverbials in work and apologised, We've agreed to meet. Panic over :)
