    So Max Clifford has died.
I can't get over how much sympathy he is getting on social media given he's convicted of sexual assault. Usually people with this are vilified so why is he getting so much sympathy?

He came across as a grubby little man even before the sex abuse stuff became public knowledge.

Because social media is not representational of real life, sooner everyone realises the quicker we can stop getting outraged over every ****ing thing on it.

Remember how he stitched up Ian and Christine Hamilton as rapists.

Turned out the accuser completely made it up

    He was a degenerate

He's no loss. On the plus side there's a prison cell free now.

Good news, especially so close to Christmas.

Either he brought all his secrets to hell, in which case a lot of celebs are celebrating right now, or he gave them to someone in which case they are bricking it.

Thank god that child murderer who's been roaming the streets as free as a dog's knob can finally be put away.

Lying manipulative ****bag, good riddance; snd i don't say that very often.

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

Before the allegations of sexual assault started coming out, I kinda admired the way he worked. I remember reading an interview in which he said that what inspired him in flogging so many crazy kiss n tell stings about the Conservative government in the 1990s was the manner in which Thatcher's gov't had allowed the NHS to fall apart.
Just writing that down shows how deluded I was & how much I bought into his media persona. But for years, he brilliantly marketed himself as one of the good guys, dealing in a murky world

I bet of all the ways he thought he'd go out, a heart attack in prison, disgraced as a sex offender wasn't one of them which makes me smile slightly.

Good riddance - fúcking sleaze bag is all he was.

Ha! This is the first I've heard of it. Goes to show that nobody actually cares that he's gone. I saw nothing on facebook, twitter or the news about his death in the last 24 hours.

    Wonderful.

The Devil will be delighted, he now has a PR man.
Expect some "I slept with the devil and he was fantastic" coming out in the red tops over the next few days.

I absolutely hated the guy, and that was before the previous nasty stuff became public knowledge.

I remember seeing him on ITV's breakfast show, being asked for his opinion on some inane "celebrity" news, and he made sure to be standing in front of his big house, with his Aston Martin car in prominent view, talking away and saying nothing.

A despicable man with no discernible talent, who preyed off those who were unfortunate enough to turn to him for help (see Jade Goody for one example).

Someone posted a good comment online in an article about his passing, which I thought was quite appropriate..

"Some men die and leave their mark on the world. Others die and leave a skid mark"

I see K*y B*rley described him as "publicist" in a tweet. Someone should have told her that twitter allows for more than 140 characters now and she could have gone with "convicted sex offender".
