This requires a "Warrant" completed before boarding. The very earliest I can arrive at the Station (Cork) barely allows time to do this. Is it possible to down load the Warrant?

You can get the warrents from any rail station at any time in advance and fill it in at home and take it with you.

But in any case you can get the Warrant when you obtain your ticket and it would take less than 2 minutes to fill it in.

The paperwork is only available at Cross Border stations, so get the ticket at Dublin Connolly

    Thankyou "Going Nowhere".

I bought the Crossborder ticket (first learned such existed) at Cork Station en route to Belfast: new "format" monthly return so evading hassle/delay at both Connolly and Belfast on return - truly helpful when only short connections.

I only have 20 minutes to get from Cork Bus Station to the train: to date bus only late once. I think my only choice is revert to usual procedure and get separate tickets.

    Thanks again.

Or next time collect a few forms in Connolly and hang on to them

In theory Cork should be able to issue the tickets but highly unlikely that
    a) they will have the warrant forms
    b) will have a clue what you are talking about

Of course Cork could just issue the ticket without the warrant and thats there problem not yours

If you do this often go to your local social welfare office and ask for a FTNI1 form and get the northern ireland senior smartness if over 65 for free which will allow you unlimited travel Island wide
