radiators keep filling with air since boiler service

I got my Worcester gas boiler serviced this morning. Ever since he left, the radiators have been filling with air, and the boiler sounds like it has become a dish washer.

I've bled all the radiators 3 times, during both heat on and heat switched off. But every time they just keep filling back up with air!

This time, I've bled each radiator and after the radiator was fully bled I turned it off completely at both sides, and moved on to the next one. I've bled and turned off all valves on all radiators except for one, the smallest one which is closest to the boiler, and I'm bleeding it every 30 seconds.. Am I doing something wrong? Will I have to call back the service man? (Who was RGI certified by the way)..

I live in a cottage (no upstairs/downstairs) and the system refills itself.. if that matters..

Perhaps you could tell us what the problem was, it may help someone in the future.

Sorry, just seeing this now. Hopefully I'll get the technical terms right.

    - The system refill valve was old and blocked, so the system wasn't refilling properly with water and it had no where near enough in it to function properly.

-It was fine before the service because all the radiators shared a slight amount of air, and there was just enough water to keep everything going. When he bled the radiators before he left, they all filled with water, but the boiler (highest point in the heating system since there is no upstairs) emptied.

    - He said part of the service drains the system a little bit and normally it would just refill itself. So I was left with just far too little water in a system and a boiler that was flushing through air and water I guess.

    - He came and changed the valve and the system refilled itself with water and all was good.
