    Hello everyone,

I am looking to subscribe to one of the etoll payment systems, I want the handiness of not having to have change etc. to hand. I know there are a couple of different option available on the market, some can be used to pay parking etc.

    Any advise/guidance/experience would be appreciated.

    Regards

I use eflow, suits me as it does all the motorways.

I'll second eFlow. I've been using them for years. Easy to use the online system, telephone service is quick, reliable and efficient. I swap cars regularly and the odd time I've forgotten to change car online. eFlow have always sorted it out for me without incurring a penalty.

I can't compare it to other providers because I see no reason to change from eFlow.

I'm using a tag from tolltag.ie/ParkMagic, 4 tags on one account (got tags for my parents cars too), there's an app for keeping track of where & when it's used and the account I have with them doesn't charge a standing monthly administration fee. Might work out a few Euro cheaper if you don't use them often.

whats the minimum fee that always has to be on the account?

I have no idea. I was being charged €2.60 per month whether I used the tags or not, now I'm charged 10% of whatever the toll is each time I use a tag, works out cheaper for me.

Work out what is best for you based on what your average usage would be.

I can see how that might be ok for a light user, but Jaysus if I used that tag it'd be cheaper for me to buy a chopper

    Yup! :D

Work out what your average monthly usage would be and check which tag account would suit, less than 8-10 trips per month like me & the percentage deal might be cheaper.
