Is Eir's online chat the most useless service ever provided by any company?

Has anybody got any experience in using this service? I have used it a number of times recently and for me it is without a doubt the most useless service I have ever used.
All they do is pass you from one to the other, and then tell you "call the team on 1800.....".
Like seriously is there any point of this service if they can't actually do anything?
Is there other online chat services to rival this in terms of uselessness?

I purchased a phone from eir recently but the payment processing screen spat out an error at the end and suggested trying again, but my statement showed the payment cleared. I used the chat service to query it and was told my order had been logged correctly and my phone would be with me in a few days, which it was.

I needed my number ported to a new SIM when it arrived, had it done through chat, and again no problems.

I know it's probably not what you're looking for but I've had no problems with the service.

Any company who uses the term "completely unlimited" in its advertising yet imposes a limit which could be exceeeded with one single user using the internet heavy for 2 hours a day is best avoided.

I don't like eir, but when I contacted their customer service through the phone they were good.
