hi can anyone advise if its possible to receive tv channels from bulgaria on hellasat 39 deg east in cork with an 80 cm dish with the correct receiver, i was looking at the footprint on lyngsat and it seems possible but i would like to hear if anyone has actually done it,

110 cm dish in Dundalk. All the transponders are around 14 to 15 dB. Scale goes up to 20 dB and around 8 dB is enough signal. 80 cm would probably be fine.

I can see Bulgarian TV on 39 east with an 80cm dish in Wicklow.
Couldn't tell you about exact db signal levels, but it works.
