    Hi,

Currently getting a new bathroom put in with pump for shower and mirror with built in led light. Electrician came back to say that there is a potential hazard and they had to report to safety ireland.

The issue was no earth rod, insufficient earthing to hot tank and no earth to boiler. They wont fully complete bathroom (activate pump and mirror light), but will wire up parts. Theyre charging 720 incl tax and say i meed the cert to show hazard is no longer an issue.

Is this too pricey? House was built in 70s is it likely there is no earth rod?

    Thanks

He possibly saved your life for under 800 euro. That in itself is value for money imo
