Anyone any experience of this? From what I'm reading, quite common.

Thought the previous owner was very generous when I was pulling away from his gaff with 3/4 tank of petrol. When she hit half, the low fuel warning light came on!

Some saying it's the tank sender corroded or needing cleaning, others say its a common dash gauge issue and it will need to come out for fixing/replacement....

Very common issue on the Mk1 TT. If the warning light and range are working correctly then it will be an instrument cluster problem.

The range I'm not sure on. The windscreen wiper stalk doesn't have the necessary buttons to go through the OBC options.... I'm assuming that only in the 225hp model?

But I do get the low fuel warning (for the second time now when the tank was showing half)

Cluster issue then. It would also be a good idea to have the temp gauge checked. They can also over read but the fault can be masked by the thermostat being stuck open, which is another common issue.
